Q. When is check-in and check-out?
A. Most weekly rentals are Saturday to Saturday. Check-in Time is 1:00pm (NO EXCEPTIONS). Check-out time is 10:00am (NO EXCEPTIONS). You may check-in between 1:00pm and 5:00pm. All keys must be returned to the Agency by 10:00am.
Q. Can I check-in Early?
A. Unfortunately, no. The owners need to prepare the property for your stay.
Q. Do we rent to groups?
A. Most of our owners have chosen to rent to families only at this time. We do offer a few homes available for ½ season or full season terms. Please search our website for these properties.
Q. Do we have pet rentals?
A. We have only a few owners that will accept pets. Some owners may allow pets, but charge a $150 (or more) nonrefundable Pet Fee. Please search our website for pet-friendly properties.
Q. How do I pay for my rental?
A. When your Lease is prepared, a payment schedule is arranged. The final payment will be due 3 weeks prior to your check-in. We accept personal checks for these payments (3 weeks prior to check-in). We do not accept credit cards at this time.
Q. What is the check-in procedure?
A. Check-in can be quick and easy. Long & Foster - NJ Realty offers EXPRESS CHECK-IN - curbside in front of our office - for those Tenants that have prepaid in full. At 1:00pm on the day of your arrival, you will be given two sets of keys for the property, along with helpful information and our GOODIE BAG!
Q. What if I have an Unpaid Balance?
A. You are MUCH better off paying your balance in advance - this will speed-up your check-in process. If you do have a balance the day of check-in, payment must be made in FULL via cash or certified check. No keys will be disbursed unless the balance is paid in full, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Q. What will I need to bring?
A. Linens, towels, blankets, beach tags, and paper products are not included. The bed sizes of your unit can be found on your Lease, so you will know what linen sizes you will need.
Q. Are beach tags provided?
A. No, although some owners may provide them as a courtesy. Check your unit upon arrival. If they are provided, please be sure to leave them for the next family.
Q. Where can I get beach tags?
A. Either in the Beach tag office at 23 JFK Blvd. or you can simply buy them from the beach tag officers who approach you on the beach. Wednesdays are Free Beach Days - No tags Necessary. Tags are not required for children under the age of 12.
Cleaning: All rental units are inspected by the property owners or their service before your occupancy. You are required to leave the unit clean when you vacate (see Check-Out Cleaning List below). This includes removing trash (Sea Isle is a recycling community), as well as wiping down the kitchen and bathrooms and running the vacuum. Also, please remember to empty the refrigerator and remove all personal items.
Remove trash and recycling from the property when you leave; you can bring them to the drop-off area beneath the bridge on JFK Blvd on your way out of town.

Q. Is telephone service included?
A. Most rental units do not include local telephone service. If you will be in need of a land-line, be sure it is included in your unit prior to making the reservation.
Q. Can I access the Internet?
Long & Foster - NJ Realty provides FREE Internet access in our office to our customers. This includes a PC in our office, accessible during business hours, and wireless access in our office are
Some rental units include Internet access. If this is a requirement, please check to be sure it is included before making your reservation. Internet service can be pre-arranged through a local service: www.surfnetocnj.com
Security Deposits: Damage deposits are mailed out within 30 days from the day you checked out. We strongly advise tenants to take advantage of the Security Deposit Protection Plan (SDPP). This provides accidental damage insurance coverage, giving you peace of mind during your stay.
Q. How can I reserve for next year?
A. If you would like to re-book your rental unit, we strongly advise reserving it for next year before you leave. Reservation forms are available in our office. *All reservations are subject to Owner's final approval.
Q. What are your hours?
A. Monday through Saturday, 9:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday 10:00am to 1:00pm. We are closed on Wednesdays (Available by appointment).
